Since graduating from New College Lanarkshire in 2024, Milly has built up an impressive portfolio career spanning playwriting, acting and facilitation.
In 2024, she won the St Andrew's Playwriting Award for her proffessional debut, "Water Colour." Milly then went on to win the Stage Debut Award for Best Writer in 2025, and later a Scottish Emerging Theatre Award. She was named as the Scotsman's "One to Watch" playwright for 2026, and her sophmore play, "Someone's Knocking at the Door" had a sold-out Scottish Tour produced by A Play, A Pie & A Pint.
As an actor, Milly has performed with organisations such as Dundee Rep, Cumbernauld Theatre and the Scottish Mental Health Arts Festival. She is an alumnis of Youth Theatre Arts Scotland's "Next Generation" program, and currently facilitates on a freelance basis for youth theatres around Glasgow. Milly is keen to create socially engaged work, exploring themes such as feminism, queerness, neuro-diversity and mental health. Presently, she co-runs a grassroots theatre company called Cuttin' Aboot.
